DCAsteroids is a homebrew 3D Asteroids clone for Sega Dreamcast for 1-4 players written in C using Kallistios(KOS).
Gameplay:
The object of the game is to destroy all asteroids in space. The asteroids and your ship are limited to a finite cube of space.
Your ship has a finite amount of health(100 points). When impacted by asteroids or enemy bullets, your ship loses health.
When it reaches zero, your ship explodes.
Powerups may float into space and will upgrade your weapon if collected.
White - extra health(75 points)
Red - automatic machine gun
Blue - 3 shot spread fire
Powerups are more plentiful in the lower levels. stock up on them there, then try to stay alive. Both machine gun and spread may be active at once.
Enemies (the purple flying saucers) will try to shoot you and other players. Shoot them first.
After a little while they will lose interest, but in the higher levels they come after you for longer...
Multiplayer:
The number of players is determined by the number of controllers plugged into the console at boot time.
player 1: red
player 2: blue
player 3: yellow
player 4: green
Players receive points for destroying another player and lose points for dying. Competitive play and cooperative play are both possible.
Controls:
Analog Stick - aim ship

Y - thrust forward
X - change view
A - brake(slow down -> stop) - while holding A other controls are non-functional.
